Project Alpha is an Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. National Program. Project Alpha will be conducted once per year during the “Rites of Passage” weekend (4 days beginning on Thursday). It is designed to provide education, motivation and skill building on issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy/fatherhood and sexually transmitted diseases for young males’ ages 12-18 years.
Omicron Alpha Lambda of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. joined forces with March of Dimes to support the effort of helping families have healthy babies.
“A Voteless People is a Hopeless People” was initiated as a National Program of Alpha during the 1930’s when many African-Americans had the right to vote but were prevented from voting because of poll taxes, threats of reprisal, and lack of education about the voting process.
The focus of Alpha Phi Alpha’s Inc. Go-To-High School, Go-To- College National Program is designed to help young people focus their attention on high school completion and the pursuit of college education or other forms of training after high school graduation.
The Go Getters/Goal Getters Initiative are workshops, forums and events established to encourage, stimulate, and challenge young men to set goals and focus on achieving them by combining fun activities with serious themes (Workshops).
